Science
To support our science curriculum, we use CUSP as a framework for learning as it is an evidence-based curriculum strategy, which puts retrieval at the forefront of learning. The aim of CUSP is to increase fluency and reduce cognitive load for our pupils.
CUSP builds on Rosenshine’s principles and supports our pedagogical approach to teaching at Edge Hill. Wherever possible, we have aimed to build on our current practice to ensure the transition to CUSP is as manageable as possible.
