    Published 04/10/23

Congratulations to our seven shortlisted artists whose work is currently being exhibited in Burton Library as part of the East Side Arts calendar art competition run by Brizlincote Parish Council.

On Saturday 30th September 2023, Harriet, Alan, Orla, Arrabella, Maja, Mali and Alexa attended a very special event at the library. The Mayor arrived, we had drinks and nibbles and their work was judged by a working artist from our community. He selected 12 artworks from 25 shortlisted and four of them are the work of our very own Edge Hill artists! Well done Alan, Arrabella, Maja and Alexa.

We can't wait to see the finished calendar! It will be available to download so watch this space (link to follow). In addition to this fantastic reward, the Mayor has extended an invitation to the winners to meet him for a tour of the Town Hall. Intriguing!
